FAQ's

Do I need a date to wear a Homecoming mum or garter?

Absolutely not, and good riddance to that old tradition!

How do I order a Homecoming mum or garter?

First, determine your budget. Second, look through our website and pricing.
We make mums of all sizes, and for all budgets. Our goal is to help you get the biggest bang for your buck.
If you're comfortable ordering online, use our easy online order store. If not, no problem!
Call us at 817-975-7237. We will happily take your order over the phone.

Do you take consultation appointments?

You bet we do! We will begin personal consultations May 1, 2024. Call us at 817-975-7237 to schedule a day and time.

How soon should I place my order?

The earlier the better. We sometimes book up several weeks before a homecoming day for schools that are local to us. If this fall repeats 2023, we were sometimes booked over a month in advance. We usually try to keep our website viewers informed of our booking status. Please check our calendar for availability.

If you want to place an early order, we can add names as the day of homecoming gets closer. We also offer a payment plan.

NOTE: We have tried to anticipate shortages of supplies. We feel we are well stocked up on what we need. But it's best to order well in advance.

I'd like to order my own mum, but what do I do if someone asks me last minute?

This happens frequently! If you're certain you want a mum regardless of a date, we suggest ordering your mum ahead of time. This insures you won't have to scramble for a mum at the last minute or possibly do without. If you get asked after you have placed your order, just explain you ordered early. Then contact us about making a matching garter (or mum). We can talk about the expense at that time.

How do I know what size or color to order?

Nothing is set in stone when it comes to rules. The old tradition is a single mum for freshmen girls, double mum for sophomore girls, triple mums for Junior girls, and quad mums for senior girls. With the recent popularity of the larger mums, the rules have become a bit blurred. For the boys, the garters can be single, double. or triple. Whatever is preferred.

Most schools (but not all) do lower classman in school colors with senior mums and garters done in special colors. For example, in Arlington, Martin High School has the following tradition. Freshman and Sophomores are black, red, with silver accents. Junior class students are black, white, with silver accents. Senior class students are white with silver accents, and sometimes with an additional color if the student desires. If you're not certain of your school colors or traditions, please call us at 817-975-7237. We likely already know and if we don't, we can find out.

When will my order be ready for pick-up?

We schedule pick-ups on the Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of your Homecoming week. We make our mums in the order of the homecoming day. This allows us to work efficiently and meet our deadlines.

Can you ship my order to me?

We apologize but we no longer offer shipping due to the risk of your order not arriving on time. It's never happened to us, but we have seen it happen to others and it is sad disappointment for everyone involved. If you can arrange for a pick-up from our location in Arlington, we will make your order for any school within the state of Texas.
